Verdastra Energy Limited is a private company set up to provide project development services and expertise to owners and investors in renewables and related energy sectors. The company is based in the UK and targets high-quality projects and opportunities in international locations including Latin America.
The company is founded on longstanding working relationships within the management team, including most recently several years’ involvement in the development of the large-scale Gente Grande Project in Chile, comprising onshore wind and green ammonia facilities planned for construction on the main island of Tierra del Fuego.

Our vision is to be a prime mover in the identification and formation of high-quality energy project opportunities, and a partner of choice for commercial solutions and the initial stages of project development. Our strategy is to identify and pursue only the best project opportunities where high-quality energy resources provide a competitive advantage and are combined with viable market access and low development risk to make a compelling economic and business case.
We prioritize commercial solutions and project economics from the earliest stages of opportunity selection using our own in-house models and analysis. Additional expertise as required for technical, environmental and engineering aspects is obtained from specialist service providers in the market including consultants, contractors, licensors and OEMs.
Our management team
Our management team brings more than 100 years of proven experience in the development of international energy projects and covers the full range of commercial, technical and management capabilities. All members of the team have held senior positions in large corporate organizations including global engineering contractors and national energy operators.
