We have detailed knowledge and experience in renewables project development from our significant involvement in the Gente Grande Project in southern Chile, from foundation of the project in 2020 and management through the subsequent feasibility and permitting phases for the wind farm, ammonia plant and marine facilities.
Gente Grande Project, Chile
The Gente Grande Project is a large-scale 3.5GW wind farm and 1.4MTpa green ammonia development on Tierra del Fuego in southern Chile. The proposed facilities comprise 450+ wind turbine generators, supplying energy to green hydrogen electrolyzers and ammonia process units for export via new marine facilities in Gente Grande Bay. Our extensive involvement with the project has included:
- overall management of feasibility and permitting phases
- project economics
- commercial, legal, marketing and investor relations
- development strategy
- concept and technology configuration
- execution and construction strategies
